Chelsea and Manchester United linked left-back Kieran Tierney has insisted that he will be staying put at Celtic next season.

Tierney, whose present contract with Celtic runs until 2021, has been in fine form for the Scottish champions in the present campaign.




In addition to helping out the Hoops’ defence, the 19-year-old has scored twice and set up 12 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions this season.

The youngster’s impressive performances have attracted interest from south of the border, with Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United being linked with making a move for him this summer.
 


But Tierney, who is also on the radar of Arsenal, believes that Celtic is the best place for him to be and insisted he is relishing life with the Bhoys.

“Yes, I do”, he said in a press conference on Tuesday, when asked if he sees himself at Celtic next season.

“I just it's a great place to be and I’m really enjoying it right now.”

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers recently insisted that the club do not have to sell their star players this summer.

Tierney, who is a product of Celtic’s youth system, has three senior caps for Scotland to his name.

The teenager has thus far amassed 73 appearances for the Scottish giants, netting three times and providing 20 assists.
