Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed Moussa Dembele will consult a specialist regarding a foot injury at the end of the season.

The Belgian midfielder has been making appearances from the bench over the last few weeks and Pochettino has indicated that he has not been fit enough to make the starting eleven.

The Tottenham boss revealed that Dembele has been playing through pain due to a foot injury over the last few matches and will see a specialist following this Sunday’s final game of the Premier League season.

Pochettino revealed that he has great admiration for the midfielder for making himself available at a crucial juncture of the season despite not being anywhere close to 100 per cent in terms of fitness.

The Tottenham manager said in a press conference: "After Sunday he needs to see the specialist.
