Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved has been in contact with Patrik Schick’s agent ahead of the summer transfer window, putting the Bianconeri firmly at the front of the queue for the Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur target.

With Sampdoria struggling to agree a new contract with the 21-year-old forward’s agent, clubs are circling around the Czech star ahead of the summer transfer window.

Sampdoria are working towards agreeing the outlines of a new contract with Schick, but Arsenal, Tottenham and Inter are all keen.

Juventus are considering invoking the €25m release clause in the striker’s contract and according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, club vice-president Nedved is in touch with the player’s agent.

It has been claimed that Nedved is trying to leverage his close relationship with Pavel Paska, Schick’s agent, to tilt the scales towards Juventus in the chase for the Czech star’s signature.

The Italian champions are also prepared to loan him out to Sampdoria for a season if they managed to reach an agreement to sign the forward during the summer transfer window.

Sampdoria are expected to continue to try to convince the player to sign a new deal as they remain desperate to either erase the €25m clause or raise the figure to around €50m.
