Manchester United linked defender Marquinhos has insisted that he will definitely be playing for Paris Saint-Germain next season.

The Brazilian defender has been on the radar of a few top clubs over the last few seasons and there were suggestions recently that PSG are plotting to sell him during the summer transfer window.




Barcelona have been closely monitoring his progress since his days at Roma and even Manchester United have been linked with a big money move for the Brazilian in the upcoming transfer window.

However, Marquinhos has rubbished the speculation surrounding his future at PSG and stressed that he will remain in the French capital beyond the summer.
 


He further added that the club have a long term project involving him forming a defensive partnership with 21-year-old defender Presnel Kimpembe at the Parc des Princes.

The defender told Eurosport: “I will stay here 100 per cent.

“Forming a partnership with Kimpembe is a long term project for the club.”

The Brazilian joined PSG from Roma in 2013 and has a contract until 2019 with the Parisians.
