AC Milan are preparing to slap in a bid for Chelsea and Liverpool linked full-back Andrea Conti, for whom Atalanta have already rejected an offer from Atletico Madrid.

The 23-year-old full-back, who has mostly been deployed as a midfielder this season, has been attracting the attention of several top clubs across Europe because of his performances at Atalanta.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayern Munich have all been keeping tabs on the former Italy Under-21 international and Atalanta have already rebuffed a €14m bid from Atletico Madrid.

AC Milan are Conti’s Italian suitors this summer and it has been claimed that the Rossoneri are preparing to test the waters by tabling an offer with Atalanta for the defender.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, the Serie A giants are prepared to put €17m on Atalanta’s table in the coming days and tempt them into selling Conti in the summer.
