Chelsea Show Interest In Manchester United Linked Striker

Chelsea are showing an interest in Manchester United linked Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and could initiate contact in the upcoming days.

Despite Inter Milan’s pursuit, Antonio Conte is expected to sign a new contract with Chelsea after winning the league title in his first season in charge of the west London club.

And the Blues are already planning for next season and are identifying targets they could be pursuing in the summer to strengthen Conte’s hand for the new campaign.

According to Tutto Mercato, Borussia Dortmund striker Aubameyang could be a target for the club and Chelsea are considering making a move for him in the summer.

The Premier League champions are expected to initiate contact with the player’s representatives and Dortmund in the upcoming days to start negotiations over a deal for the player.

AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are already keeping tabs on him and even Manchester United have touched base with the player through intermediaries in recent days.

The Gabon striker has enjoyed another fruitful season at the Westfalenstadion, scoring 37 goals in all competitions and could be considering his future at the club in the summer.

He has a contract until 2020 with Dortmund.
