Sam Allardyce has confirmed that Crystal Palace are in talks with Tottenham Hotspur target Wilfried Zaha over a new deal, but the Eagles manager insisted that he is not aware of the details of the fresh contract.

The winger, who has been in fine form for Crystal Palace in the current campaign, has been linked with a move to Spurs this summer.

Zaha has thus far scored seven goals and provided 11 assists in 34 Premier League games this season and his impressive performances have also attracted the interest of Arsenal and Manchester City.

But Allardyce, who said that Zaha loves Crystal Palace, stated that the club are already in negotiations with the 24-year-old regarding a new and improved contract, the details of which he does not know.

“It's in negotiation, but I don't know how far it's gone or what the figures are”, Allardyce said in a press conference on Thursday.
