RB Leipzig have made a big bid to sign young Toulouse defender Issa Diop, who is on the radar of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Diop has caught the eye with his accomplished performances in Ligue 1 for Toulouse this season and the French side could well lose him to a bigger club this summer.

Bundesliga runners-up RB Leipzig have made the first effort to try to take Diop away from Toulouse, slapping in a bid to make the French side think.

According to France Football, the German side have offered an initial €12m, plus a further €2m in bonus payments, for Diop.

It is unclear how the offer will sit with Toulouse president Olivier Sadran, but the Frenchman is known for driving a hard bargain and could hope more clubs come in for Diop.
