Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev has insisted that the club won’t put a price on Manchester United and Real Madrid target Kylian Mbappe until he wants to leave.

The 18-year-old’s future at the club is expected to be a hot topic all summer after a fantastic season where his goals helped Monaco to their first Ligue 1 title in 17 years and to the Champions League semi-finals.

Monaco have already knocked back a mega money bid from Manchester United for Mbappe and are aware of Real Madrid’s interest in taking him to the Bernabeu in the summer.

And Vasilyev has stressed that unless the striker wants to leave the club in the summer, the club won’t be discussing any price for the 18-year-old in the upcoming window.

He told French radio station RMC: “Kylian Mbappe has no price, unless he wants to leave.

“Of course then we would discuss.”

When asked if Monaco will reject a €100m bid for Mbappe, the Monaco vice-president said: “Of course, we are sure and certain about it.”

He insisted that Monaco want Mbappe to continue at the club for one more season to further aid his development and achieve greater results for the Ligue 1 champions.

“We want to keep him for at least one season in order to help him continue his wonderful progress, to help us dream bigger and to achieve results on the pitch.”
