Liverpool have made Monaco left-back Benjamin Mendy their transfer priority this summer, according to Sky Italia.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has been using midfielder James Milner as a makeshift left-back this season after Alberto Moreno failed to provide stability in the position.

As a result, Liverpool are on the lookout for a left-back in the summer and have identified Mendy as a prime target.

Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon is also on the radar, but it has been claimed that the Merseyside giants will only turn their attention to the England Under-19 international if they fail in their bid to land Mendy.

Liverpool are aware it will not be easy to rope in the Frenchman, who has also attracted the interest of Manchester United, Manchester City and Inter Milan.
