Marseille are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko during the summer transfer window.

The French midfielder has failed to carve out a niche for himself in the Tottenham squad following his move from Newcastle United last August and is expected to leave the club at the end of the season.

The Frenchman is aware that he needs to play regular football next season to regain his place in the France squad ahead of next year’s World Cup and wants to leave Spurs in the summer.

And it seems he has suitors in France as according to Journal du Dimanche, Marseille are showing an interest in signing the midfielder from Tottenham ahead of next season.

Finishing fifth in the league, Marseille will be playing in the Europa League next season and the club are keen to show ambition in the summer in order to strengthen their squad.
