Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has revealed that he is satisfied with his recovery process and that he is expecting to be fit for pre-season.

The 26-year-old, whose side managed to finish in the top four after beating Middlesbrough 3-0 at Anfield on Sunday, has been sidelined since late February with a foot injury.

Henderson managed 27 appearances in all competitions for the Reds this season, scoring once and setting up four goals.

And the England international, who did not feature in Liverpool’s last 13 Premier League games, said that his recovery from the foot injury is going in the right direction as he expects to be fit for pre-season this summer.

“I’m good”, he told LFC TV, when asked about his injury status.
