Leeds United target Mateusz Klich has indicated he is ready to meet the challenge of playing for the Whites in the Championship head on.

The Poland international midfielder currently turns out in the Netherlands with FC Twente, a club he joined just last year from German outfit Kaiserslautern; Klich has also played for Wolfsburg in Germany.

He could be on the move to Leeds, with Garry Monk's men claimed to be pushing to secure his signature – and it is a move Klich has indicated he would relish.

During a discussion between two fans on Twitter, it was suggested that heading to England would be a high-risk move for Klich.

It was a conversation the midfielder took note of and he replied with a meme saying "challenge accepted".

Twente have already secured a player who can replace Klich in the shape of Danny Holla, who is joining the Tukkers when his contract at PEC Zwolle runs out this summer.

It remains to be seen whether Leeds will thrash out an agreement with Twente for Klich, but it appears if they do then the Pole will be only too happy to try his luck in England.

Twente finished seventh in the Eredivisie this season.
