Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal target Patrik Schick, according to German daily Bild.

The striker has been in fine form for Sampdoria in the present campaign, scoring 13 goals and providing three assists in 34 appearances in all competitions.

Sampdoria have thus far failed to come to terms over a new deal with Schick’s agent and it seems that the player is contemplating a move away from the Italian club this summer.

Although Tottenham have reportedly agreed the outline of personal terms with the Czech international’s agent, it has been claimed that the 21-year-old is pushing for a move to Juventus.

However, Dortmund have now entered the race for Schick, who is also on the radar and Chelsea, Inter Milan, Napoli and Roma.

But it remains to be seen if the German giants can snare away the youngster as it has been suggested that former Juventus star Pavel Nedved has already started working on Bianconeri’s behalf to acquire the signature of his compatriot Schick.

The forward, whose present contract with Sampdoria runs until 2020, joined La Samp last summer from Sparta Prague.
