Manchester United and Chelsea linked winger Federico Bernardeschi will meet Fiorentina in the coming days as his agents are set to discuss a new contract with the club.

The 23-year-old winger’s future at the club has been a subject of speculation over the last few months, with more and more clubs joining the growing queue of suitors.

Chelsea have been wanting to sign him for months, but there are suggestions that Manchester United are also interested in taking him to England during the summer transfer window.

Fiorentina have been keen to offer him a new deal and according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, his representatives will meet the club hierarchy soon to discuss the terms of a new contract.

However, Fiorentina are unlikely to put a fresh offer on the winger’s table and their offer still stands – a five-year contract worth €2.5m, a figure the club are not keen to better.

Chelsea have been reportedly ready to offer him double the amount to move to England and even Manchester United could be expected to offer better terms than Fiorentina.

Juventus are also interested in signing the player but they are keen to know whether Bernardeschi wants to move to Turin before they make a move for him.

The Italian champions are not keen to get into a bidding war with the English clubs for the Italy international.
