Leeds United target Mateusz Klich’s agent has claimed that there is no deal agreed between the Whites and FC Twente regarding the transfer of his client.

The midfielder, who joined Twente from Kaiserslautern on a free transfer in 2016, has been heavily linked with a move to Leeds this summer.

Klich was in good form for the Dutch outfit in the recently concluded season, scoring six times and setting up four goals in 30 appearances in all competitions.

The 26-year-old recently indicated that he is ready to accept the challenge of playing for Leeds in the Championship.

However, the player’s agent insists that no deal is in place between the clubs concerning the Poland international’s move to Elland Road.

"There are no talks about a deal”, he was quoted as saying by Dutch outlet Twentefans.

Twente have already secured Danny Holla, who is expected to replace Klich; the 29-year-old will be joining the Tukkers when his contract at PEC Zwolle runs out this summer.

It remains to be seen if Leeds step up their chase for Klich, who is contracted with Twente until 2019.
