Jose Mourinho has given Real Madrid an option to sign David de Gea this summer by demanding Alvaro Morata head the other way.

De Gea has been linked with a move to Real Madrid over the last few years and there are suggestions that it could the summer the Spaniard finally returns to the Spanish capital.




Real Madrid have already touched base with Manchester United through intermediaries for the 26-year-old and the Premier League giants are demanding a world record transfer fee for a goalkeeper.

Mourinho has been planning for life after De Gea by identifying possible goalkeeping targets, but the Portuguese still wants the best deal for possible for Manchester United.
 


According to Marca, the Manchester United manager has demanded Real Madrid pay a world record fee of €75m for a goalkeeper or offer Morata to the English giants as part of a deal.

Mourinho is ready to accept a fee of around €25m if the Spanish striker is allowed to come to Old Trafford in the summer as part of De Gea’s deal to move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Morata, who is highly rated by the Manchester United manager, also has suitors in Chelsea and AC Milan but Manchester United are prepared to dangle the De Gea shaped carrot to sign him from Real Madrid.

Mourinho has already worked with the Spaniard at Real Madrid and is keen to reunite with him at Old Trafford.
