New Leeds United managing director Angus Kinnear is confident of turning the club into a formidable force in the future with the help of owner Andrea Radrizzani.

The new Leeds owner appointed Kinnear as the club’s managing director on Friday as he looks to usher in changes at Elland Road following taking over from Massimo Cellino.

Kinnear has an impressive CV in football, which included ten years as Arsenal’s director of marketing, sales and partnerships and he spent the last three years at West Ham, overseeing the club’s move to the London Stadium at the start of last season.

The new Leeds managing director has expressed his delight at joining the Yorkshire giants and admits that he shares Radrizzani’s ambitious vision for the club going forward.

Kinnear is looking forward to the challenge of turning Leeds into one of the major forces of English football again over the next few years.
