Jerome Boateng, linked with Tottenham Hotspur, has revealed that his only plan for next season is to be part of the Bayern Munich squad, in spite of not playing as much as he would have liked this season.

The Germany international endured a disappointing campaign this term, appearing only 13 times in the league and was plagued by multiple injuries in between.

As a result he has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena in the summer, with the Premier League being seen as his most likely destination.

After the end of a successful campaign, Tottenham will be looking to bolster their squad in order to be more competitive at European level and the 28-year-old has been linked with being on their radar.

However, any Spurs' hopes of signing Boateng have suffered a big blow now, with the player concerned insisting that he cannot see himself playing for another club apart from Bayern Munich next season.

"My only plan is to stay at Bayern", Boateng said in an interview with Sport Bild.

"There are very few clubs in the world that have the same reputation and tradition that Bayern have.

"I did not play as much as I would have liked to, so it is only normal that I am not entirely happy.

"But I will now use our time off to make sure I am 100 per cent fit again for next season."
