Arsene Wenger says that his Arsenal future will become clearer on Wednesday or Thursday, after he capped off the season by leading his side to success in the FA Cup.

Arsenal were dominant over Chelsea for the majority of the FA Cup final at Wembley, running out 2-1 winners with goals from Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey.

Wenger's contract expires in the summer and the Frenchman has kept the players, supporters and club waiting over whether he will sign a new two-year deal, which is on the table.

He is now promising more clarity soon, following Arsenal's FA Cup triumph.

"We have a board meeting on Tuesday. And on Wednesday or Thursday it will be clearer", Wenger was quoted as saying by the BBC.
