Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler believes Jurgen Klopp must be given credit for having blooded a number of youngsters this season, feeling the Reds will reap the rewards in years to come. 

Klopp has involved the likes of Ben Woodburn, Ovie Ejaria and Harry Wilson, along with Trent Alexander-Arnold, introducing the youngsters to first team life, with all now training on a daily basis with the club's senior stars.




The Liverpool boss refused to dip into the transfer market in the winter transfer window, something which led to him having to regularly put youngsters on the bench as the Reds battled for a top four finish during the latter stages of the campaign.

Fowler thinks Klopp's approach with youngsters is something to be praised. 
 


The former Reds striker also thinks the talents will be all the better for the experience, which will be to Liverpool's benefit in years to come.

"Trent and a few of the other ones are getting chances now and we give Jurgen a little bit of credit for getting the youngsters involved, because we’re probably going to need them in a year or two". he told the club's official site.

Fowler also picked out Alexander-Arnold for praise and explained he sees all the qualities needed to go to the very top in the young defender.

"He has probably got every attribute to be a top player.

"His attitude, will and drive are what we want as Liverpool supporters. He has got that in abundance", the ex-striker added.
