Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino and his backroom staff are not switching off from football as they instantly start to plan for next season. 

Spurs rounded off their season by taking on Kitchee SC in Hong Kong on Friday night in a post-season friendly, running out 4-1 winners.




Fans packed into the Hong Kong National Stadium, with 28,000 in attendance and Spurs receiving strong support.

Pochettino and his backroom staff also took part in a supporters' evening as they sampled the fanatical fans Spurs boast in Hong Kong.
 


The Spurs boss knows that many of his players must now switch their focus to international matters after being called up by their national teams.

But rather than take a break, Pochettino, along with his staff, is already starting to plan for next season, showing the level of dedication which has so impressed Spurs fans during the Argentine's time at White Hart Lane.

"Now it’s time for many players to have the responsibility of working with their national teams and for us, to start to work for next season", Pochettino said via his club's official site.

The Spurs boss also had warm words for the fans in Hong Kong.

"The fans are amazing and I thank them all for their support and for their warmth.

"It is something we will all remember forever.

"It has been a great few days that we've all enjoyed.

"We were made to feel so welcome and we’ll always be grateful", he added.
