Leeds United are expected to sign winger Hadi Sacko on a three-year contract.

The French wide-man spent the season on loan at Leeds from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon and did enough to convince the Yorkshire giants to make the switch permanent.

According to France Football, Sacko is expected to put pen to paper on a contract running until 2020 with the Championship club.

Leeds are to pay Sporting Lisbon a fee of around €2.3m to keep Sacko at Elland Road.

Sacko made 42 appearances for Leeds during the course of his loan spell at the club and was often criticised by some fans for a lack of end product.

Leeds are currently without a head coach following the departure of Garry Monk from his post and it is unclear whether the Whites have identified his successor and run the signing of Sacko past the new man.

Sacko has made just four senior appearances for Sporting Lisbon and has spent the majority of his time in Portugal turning out for the club's B team.
