Montpellier chairman Laurent Nicollin insists that his club have received no acceptable offers for Newcastle United target Ryad Boudebouz.

Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez is claimed to have told Boudebouz's agents he intends to sign their client in the summer transfer window, while Boudebouz himself wants the switch.

But Newcastle have no agreement with Montpellier, who want €15m for the Algeria international, and the French club insist that no bids worth mentioning have yet arrived for the 27-year-old.

"He has had it for some time, a good exit!" Nicollin told Eurosport when asked if there was a good exit price set for Boudebouz.

"We agreed this with Ryad and his agent", he continued.

"He has had a very good season and deserves to go to a more upscale club.

"Nevertherless, we do not have any special offers for him.

"We have a few, but nothing very serious and interesting for him."

It remains to be seen whether Newcastle will be willing to hit the €15m mark that Montpellier are looking for in order to sell the creative midfielder.

Boudebouz, who scored eleven goals for Montpellier over the course of the Ligue 1 campaign this season, has also been linked with Everton and West Brom, but neither have expressed their interest to the Algerian's agents.
