Inter Milan caretaker head coach Stefano Vecchi has insisted that he has no inkling whether Chelsea and Manchester United target Ivan Perisic will leave the club in the summer.

Manchester United have opened talks for the signature of the Croatian winger and Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has revealed that the Red Devils are indeed interested, though have yet to place an offer.

It has been suggested that Perisic has given his green signal to the move but there is still a vast difference between Manchester United’s idea of a fee for the player and Inter’s demands.

However, Vecchi has insisted that he is not aware what the club are plotting to do during the summer transfer window and stressed that there are little indications that Perisic will leave Inter soon.

Vecchi was quoted as saying by Italian outlet Calcio Mercato: “I don’t know what the club are doing in the market but I have read what is being written.

“Perisic has never said anything, we've never had any inkling that he will be leaving.”

Chelsea are also interested in the 28-year-old winger and have enquired about the possibility of signing the Croatian from Inter in the summer.

Blues boss Antonio Conte is a firm fan and the Premier League champions have been keen to find out what any deal to sign Perisic could look like.

Perisic scored his eleventh Serie A goal this season when he found the back of the net in Inter’s 5-2 win over Udinese on Sunday.
