Craig Gordon thinks Celtic’s achievements in the 2016/17 campaign might not be repeated by any other team again.

Brendan Rodgers’ men finished their entire domestic season without a single loss and won the treble by beating Aberdeen 2-1 in the Scottish Cup final at the weekend.

Celtic created several records in the Scottish Premiership, following their impressive performances throughout the recently concluded season.

The Hoops drew just four league games, plundered 106 goals and reached 106 points – all of which are domestic records.

And Gordon, who feels Celtic’s achievements will live long in the memory of the players and the fans, is of the opinion that no club might be able to replicate what the Bhoys achieved this term.

“It doesn’t get any better than this”, he was quoted as saying by the club’s official site.

“I think what we’ve just achieved will live long in the memory of everybody inside the dressing room, and the fans too.

“It’s an incredible achievement that we might never see again.”

Gordon, who signed a new deal with Celtic in March, which will keep him at the club until 2020, made 55 appearances in all competitions during the 2016/17 campaign, conceding just 38 goals and managing 28 clean sheets.

The goalkeeper attracted interest from Chelsea in the winter transfer window.
