Arsenal and Bayern Munich have slapped in bids for RB Leipzig winger Emil Forsberg, who is also a target for Juventus, it has been claimed.

The 25-year-old Sweden internationsl played a major role in the newly promoted RB Leipzig side finishing second behind Bayern Munich this season and has naturally attracted interest of clubs across Europe.




German champions Bayern Munich have been interested in the player and even Arsenal are plotting to take him to the Premier League during the summer transfer window.

Juventus had been hoping to land Forsberg, but their hopes are fading as, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, both clubs have placed offers on RB Leipzig’s table for the signature of the winger and are confident of agreeing a deal soon.
 


RB Leipzig remain keen to hold on to their top players in the summer ahead of next season where they will be playing Champions League football, but are aware of the difficulties of fighting off interest from big clubs.

The Bundesliga runners-up are unlikely to sell Forsberg for anything less than €30m to €35m and it has been claimed that Arsenal and Bayern Munich’s offers are close to matching those figures.

Italian champions Juventus are keen on the player but Arsenal and Bayern Munich have made the first moves in the summer to snare the Swede away from RB Leipzig.

Forsberg has scored eight goals and delivered 22 assists in the Bundesliga this season.
