Rangers new boy Ryan Jack says he is relishing the chance to turn out for the Gers and is expecting more quality players to walk through the door at Ibrox.

The Gers have completed the signing of Jack on a three-year deal following the expiry of his contract at fellow Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen, as they press the accelerator on their summer recruitment.

Jack captained the Dons and made 250 appearances for the club, establishing himself as a key player at Pittodrie.

Now he is shaping up for a new challenge and expects to be just one of a number of quality additions the Gers are planning to make under new manager Pedro Caixinha this summer; Rangers signed former FC Porto defender Bruno Alves on Wednesday.

"From what I’ve heard the club are making a few signings and bringing in a good calibre of player, so it’s exciting times and I know there are really good players already here as well", Jack told Rangers TV.

"I’m just overwhelmed at the minute but I’m looking forward to the challenge.

"I’ve just spoken with the manager briefly and he told me his plans and what he expects from the team and of me.

"I’m sure when I come back in for pre-season I’ll know a lot more about what’s happening and what’s to come."

Jack admits he is looking forward to sampling European football with Rangers, with the Gers due to be involved in the Europa League qualifiers this coming summer.

"But obviously coming to a club like Rangers, it’s always exciting and the European football is a massive appeal. That’s something I’m looking forward to, a European night at Ibrox.

"I’m here, I want to enjoy it and I want to help the club be successful again."

Jack is now set to be off for two weeks before reporting for pre-season training at Rangers.
