Liverpool and Chelsea linked defender Andrea Conti is pushing for a move to AC Milan and the Rossoneri have been in touch with his agent to discuss a proposed move.

The 23-year-old defender’s future has been a topic of much discussion and he could be leaving Atalanta in the summer with clubs such as Chelsea, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich linked with the Italian.

But Conti has made a clear choice about his next destination and according to Sportitalia, the defender is leaning towards a transfer to AC Milan in the upcoming days.

AC Milan are also interested in taking the full-back to the San Siro and have been touch with his agent to discuss a deal that would take Conti to the Milanese giants in the summer.

Atalanta want to keep hold of the defender but are aware that it would be difficult to resist a move for Conti should a big club such as the Rossoneri come calling.

It has been claimed that the Serie A club could be considering selling him if they receive an offer of around €25m and AC Milan are working hard behind the scenes to make the deal happen.
