AC Milan continue to be in the race for Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, but are facing strong opposition from Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea.

The Rossoneri have been impressed with Dembele's feats in Scotland for Brendan Rodgers' treble winners this season and want to add the Frenchman to the ranks at the San Siro.

They continue to be keen to sign Dembele, but according to Sky Italia, face strong competition for his signature.

Both Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea are interested in the Celtic hitman, and the Premier League champions, who were interested in January too, have already offered €35m for his services.

AC Milan have not given up on Dembele, but look likely to have to beat off both clubs in order to snap up the former Fulham man.

How ready Celtic are to sell the man who spearheaded their attack this season is unclear, especially as boss Rodgers wants to guide the club back into the Champions League group stage for the second season running.

Dembele, who won the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Cup with Celtic, scored 32 goals in 46 games this season.
