AC Milan are not prepared to wait any longer than 13th June for Gianluigi Donnarumma to make a decision over signing a new contract with the club.

Donnarumma, who has been linked with several clubs including Manchester United, is under contract with the Rossoneri until the summer of 2018.

The Italian giants have been working overtime in an attempt to convince Donnarumma to put pen to paper on a contract extension, but their patience is wearing thin.

According to Sky Italia, AC Milan have put a contract worth €4.5m per season, plus bonuses, on the table for the shot-stopper.

Donnarumma's agents have asked for extra time, up to 13th June, for their client to make his mind up.

While AC Milan are happy to hold on, they are not prepared to wait any longer than 13th June, meaning crunch time is now fast approaching.

The Rossoneri had threatened to let Donnarumma rot in the stands next season if he does not sign a new contract, but a more likely approach from the club is thought to be putting the goalkeeper up for sale.

He is not likely to have any shortage of takers.
