Arsenal star Hector Bellerin has agreed personal terms with Barcelona ahead of a potential move to the Catalan giants in the summer, according to RAC-1.

The 22-year-old defender has been regularly linked with a move back to his former club over the last few months, with the player's representatives also meeting the club hierarchy to discuss a transfer.

Bellerin, a regular in Arsene Wenger’s team, has done little recently to squash the speculation and has suggested that a move to the Camp Nou could be a possibility in the summer.

And it has been claimed that the defender has taken a giant step towards a potential transfer back to Barcelona after reaching an agreement over a contract with the Spanish giants.

Barcelona are in the market for a right-back and Bellerin has been their first choice target for some time despite Arsenal’s insistence that the defender won’t be leaving.

A product of the Barcelona academy, Bellerin was plucked out of their academy by Arsenal in acrimonious circumstances in 2011 but it seems the player is ready to return to his former side.

Barcelona are expected to open talks with Arsenal, with Bellerin to speak to Wenger, but the Gunners are expected to make the negotiations difficult as Wenger is in no mood to lose one of his top performers in the summer.
