AC Milan have entered the race for Tottenham Hotspur and Everton linked midfielder Davy Klaassen, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato.

The Ajax captain was in fine form in the recently concluded season, netting 20 times and setting up 12 goals in 50 appearances in all competitions.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman has been linked with taking his compatriot to Goodison Park in the summer, while Spurs have also been credited with showing interest in the Dutchman.

And it seems AC Milan are the latest entrants in the race for Klaassen, whose present contract with Ajax runs until 2019.

It has been claimed that the Rossoneri would need to pay at least €20m to take the 24-year-old away from the Dutch giants.
