AC Milan are set to resume talks with Chelsea target Corentin Tolisso’s representatives, according to Sky Italia.

The Lyon midfielder’s future at the club has been subject to much speculation over the last few months, with a host of European heavyweights showing interest in the 22-year-old.

Besides Chelsea and AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus and Bayern Munich have also been linked with Tolisso, whose present contract with Lyon runs until 2020.

Juventus were initially considered to be favourites to sign Tolisso, but it has been claimed that the Bianconeri have shifted their attention towards other targets.

It is also believed that the youngster told Lyon's hierarchy to listen exclusively to offers from clubs in the Champions League as he wants to play at Europe’s elite level, thereby ruling Inter and AC Milan out of the running.

But it seems the Rossoneri have not given up on signing Tolisso and are prepared to establish contact with the player’s representatives once again.

Chelsea too are in the running for the Frenchman, who has been long linked with Arsenal, as the Blues discussed the possibility of signing him when they met the Lyon hierarchy earlier in the month.
