Zinedine Zidane believes if Real Madrid sign Kylian Mbappe then Gareth Bale would have to leave the club.

Mbappe is Real Madrid’s top target for the transfer window but they are aware Monaco are not going to make it easy to take the Frenchman to the Bernabeu in the coming months.

The Ligue 1 champions are claimed to have already rejected offers from Manchester United, Arsenal and Real Madrid and are holding out for world record transfer fee money for the 18-year-old striker.

Real Madrid are expected to continue to try their luck for Mbappe this summer, but according to Marca, Zidane has made it clear that he can include the Frenchman in the squad only if Bale is sold.

Bale has dropped down the pecking order at Real Madrid after an injury stricken season.
