Bayern Munich have opened talks with Lyon for the signature of Chelsea target Corentin Tolisso and are confident of getting a deal over the line soon.

The 22-year-old midfielder is expected to leave the club in the summer and has been linked with a move to some of the major European clubs over the last few months.

Juventus were considered favourites to secure his signature until the club started looking at other options and recently Chelsea discussed the possibility of signing the Frenchman with Lyon.

However, it seems the midfielder is on his way to Bavaria as according to French sports daily L'Equipe, Bayern Munich have opened talks with Lyon and are moving quickly to make sure that they reach an agreement soon with the club.

Despite being a late entrant in the transfer saga, the German champions have made rapid strides in their quest to sign Tolisso and are confident of getting a deal over the line soon.
