Swedish side Vasteras SK are looking forward to banking a considerable sum due to Victor Lindelof's impending move from Benfica to Manchester United.

The Premier League giants confirmed on Saturday night that they have an agreement with Benfica for the centre-back, meaning just personal terms and a medical stand between Lindelof and moving to Old Trafford.

A statement from Benfica confirmed that Manchester United are to pay an initial €35m, with a potential further €10m in bonus payments, for Lindelof.

The deal is good news for Vasteras, who due to a sell-on clause will receive a percentage of the sale fee.

"I have no comment on the amount, but of course it is a great and comfortable feeling for the club, and a great move for Victor", club manager Michael Campese told Sportbladet.

"At the same time you have to be sober in this context.

"We have always said that we are going to build from the bottom up", he added.

Vasteras currently turn out in the third tier of Swedish football and will be hopeful of using the money to help boost the side's hunt for promotion.

In the current campaign, Vasteras sit in second spot in the Division 1 Norra, having taken 17 points from their eight matches so far.
