Barcelona could jump into the race for Sporting Lisbon winger Gelson Martins, who has also been linked with Liverpool.

The Sporting Lisbon wide-man is attracting interest and the Portuguese giants know they will be powerless to prevent his departure if his €60m buy-out clause is activated.

Liverpool have been linked with wanting Martins, especially in the event no deal is done with Roma for Mohamed Salah, but they could face heavyweight opposition.

Indeed, according to Spanish daily AS, Martins is on a list of targets Barcelona are considering making a move for.

While Borussia Dortmund's Ousmane Dembele is the Catalans' primary target, Martins is amongst a group of other players Barcelona will choose from to target in the event the France international is not available.

Borussia Dortmund only signed Dembele from French club Rennes last year, but already the 20-year-old has kicked on and is attracting admiring glances.

Dembele was named in the Bundesliga Team of the Season and was the Man of the Match in the German Cup final.

Barcelona are also considering Douglas Costa, Philippe Coutinho, Riyad Mahrez, Vitolo, Ismalia Sarr and Gerard Deulofeu, should they be unable to add Dembele to the ranks.
