Joining a Premier League club is not a priority for AC Milan striker Gianluca Lapadula, despite interest from Everton and Brighton.

With AC Milan spending big money on signing Andre Silva from FC Porto this month, the Italian is expected to be shown the door at the San Siro during the summer transfer window.

Scoring eight league goals in 27 appearances last season, Lapadula has attracted interest from the Premier League as Everton and Brighton are keen on signing the Italian.

A delegation from Everton met AC Milan on Wednesday and could have discussed signing Lapadula and even newly promoted Brighton are looking at him as a means to add more goals to their squad.

However, the striker could snub offers from Premier League clubs as according to Calciomercato.com, moving to England is not one of his top priorities this summer.

Lapadula is expected to leave the San Siro this summer, but he is yet to receive any communication from AC Milan about any decision to sell him in the upcoming window.

He is evaluating all the options on his table and it has been suggested that moving to the Premier League ahead of next season is not being considered as a great idea by the player’s entourage.
