Everton officials have squeezed in a meeting with Juventus to discuss the possibility of signing midfielder Mario Lemina and goalkeeper Neto this summer.

A delegation from the Merseyside club have been sent to Italy to hold a series of talks with several Serie A sides over conducting transfer business during the upcoming transfer window.

Everton met the Milanese giants AC Milan and Inter on Wednesday morning to discuss possibilities of transfer business between the clubs and according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, the Toffees delegation also met representatives from Juventus.

Ronald Koeman is keen to improve on last season’s seventh place finish and has two Juventus players on his radar this summer as part of his plans to strengthen the squad.

It has been claimed the Merseyside club pulled out the names of midfielder Lemina and goalkeeper Neto during their discussions with the Italian champions.

Lemina is said to be keen to leave Juventus this summer to play regular football next season and with Wojciech Szczesny expected to arrive in Turin, Neto is considered surplus to requirements.

The midfielder could consider moving to Everton ahead of the new season for regular football, but with Jordan Pickford on his way to Goodison Park for big money, it remains to be seen whether Neto will warm up to an offer from the Merseyside club.
