Tottenham Hotspur have made an approach for Monaco full-back Djibril Sidibe, but no bid has been lodged yet.

Mauricio Pochettino's men are looking to bring in another full-back amid suggestions that Kyle Walker could leave the club this summer, with Manchester City leading the race for his signature.

Spurs have been credited with showing an interest in FC Porto's Ricardo Pereira, who has just signed off on a successful loan spell at French side Nice.

Tottenham appear to have been scouting French football in depth as they have now made a move for Monaco's Sidibe, according to French magazine Le 10 Sport.

The Premier League side have made an approach and Sidibe is claimed to be open to the opportunity to head to Spurs, where international team-mate Hugo Lloris plies his trade.

Arsenal chased Sidibe last summer, but he opted to join Monaco from Lille.
