Arsenal are considering making a move for AC Milan winger M’Baye Niang, who is also a target for Everton this summer.

The 22-year-old Frenchman spent the second half of last season on loan at Watford and the Hornets had an option to sign him on a permanent deal for pre-agreed price of €18m.

Watford are unlikely to take up the option for the player despite talk of the club renegotiating the fee with AC Milan, but Niang has takers in England with Everton pushing hard to sign him.

The Toffees are reportedly preparing to make a bid for the AC Milan winger, but it seems the Merseyside club are about to face competition from one of the giants of the Premier League.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Arsene Wenger is considering making a move for Niang, who has been on the Arsenal boss’ radar for a number of years.

Everton currently have the edge in the chase as they have already held talks with AC Milan regarding Niang, but the Toffees might have to speed up their approach in order to keep Arsenal at bay.
