Ligue 1 outfits Rennes and Bordeaux have been offered an opportunity to sign Manchester United forward Josh Harrop.

The 21-year-old made an instant impact on his debut for Manchester United on the last day of the season when he scored against Crystal Palace but with his contract expiring at the end of the month, his future could be away from Old Trafford.

Manchester United have offered him a new deal but it seems his entourage is scouring the market for interest from other clubs and it seems a move to France could be on the horizon.

According to Yahoo Sports France, the forward has been offered to Ligue 1 outfits Rennes and Bordeaux and he could leave Manchester United.

With Manchester United expected to add more quality to their squad in the summer, Harrop is not expected to play much first team football next season despite scoring on his debut.

It remains to be seen how the French clubs react to being offered the Manchester United youth product and whether they do look to snap him up at the end of his current deal.

Harrop could still sign the new contract on offer and join another side on loan, but it seems the player is considering all possibilities before taking up that option.
