Rangers new boy Ryan Jack admits that manager Pedro Caixinha has set high standards for the squad during pre-season training.

The Glasgow giants snapped up the midfielder from Aberdeen on a free transfer this summer and so far he is the only Scottish player Caixinha has brought into his squad in the market.

With Rangers back in action at the end of the month in the Europa League qualifiers, Jack and the rest of his team-mates have reported for pre-season training with the club.

The 25-year-old is looking to use pre-season not only to build his fitness for the upcoming campaign but to try and establish a connection with his new team-mates at Rangers.

And he also admits that Caixinha has made sure that the squad are aware of the kinds of standards he expects his players to attain during the summer.
