Roma are in advanced negotiations with the entourage of Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona target Jean Seri.
The 25-year-old midfielder has turned into hot property this summer after enjoying a fruitful season at Nice and has been attracting the interest of top clubs.
Catalan giants Barcelona are interested in taking him to Spain during the transfer window and even Tottenham are keen on snapping up the midfielder during the summer.
However, it seems Seri could be heading towards Italy as according to French sports daily L’Equipe, Roma are currently leading the chase to grab his signature from Nice.
It has been claimed the Serie A giants have been in advanced negotiations with the player’s representatives and are trying to agree personal terms with the midfielder.

Nice have so for rejected all bids for the midfielder and are keen to get a price as close to the €40m figure mentioned in his release clause before agreeing to sell him this summer.
There were suggestions that Roma were discouraged from trying to sign Seri as the midfielder wants to play in the Premier League but it seems Ivoirian is prepared to play in Italy too.
He has a contract until 2019 with Nice.
