Chelsea and Lyon have continued to hold talks over the transfer of Bertrand Traore and they are hoping to reach an agreement in the coming days.

The 21-year-old impressed in his loan stint at Ajax last season and played a key role in their run to the Europa League final, where they lost to Manchester United in Stockholm.




Everton and West Ham have been interested in signing the winger from Chelsea this summer but Lyon have been the ones who have been on his trail for a number of months.

Lyon discussed the option of signing Traore with Chelsea when the two clubs met earlier this month and talks have continued over the last few weeks as they try to reach an agreement.
 


And according to L’Equipe, Lyon are confident that they will be able to reach an agreement over a fee with Chelsea in the coming days and take Traore to France this summer.

The winger has been keen to stay in England next season, but Lyon are hoping to convince him to move to France and are also trying to agree personal terms with his representatives.

Traore has little over two years left on his contract with the Premier League champions.
