Inter Milan have slapped an asking price on Everton target Marcelo Brozovic, but they might have to settle for a negotiated fee.

The Croatian midfielder is one of the players the club have put on the chopping block this summer and are prepared to listen to offers for in the upcoming transfer window.

Everton have been linked with a move for the player and there are suggestions that his name was discussed when officials from the club met the Inter hierarchy earlier this week in Milan.

Inter are prepared to see Brozovic leave and according to Tuttosport, the club are hoping to earn a fee of around €25m from his sale in the summer – but the club might have to settle for less.

The Croatian is expected to leave the Nerazzurri, but it has been claimed Inter might have to accept a fee of around €20m from the transaction.

Russian giants Zenit Saint Petersburg are also interested in snapping up Brozovic with Roberto Mancini believed to be a fan but the player is reportedly unwilling to move to Russia.

It remains to be seen whether Everton make any concrete move for the Croatian midfielder and close out a deal with Inter.
