Christian Pulisic has given Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp hope of a future swoop by ruling out joining Bayern Munich and saying Manchester United are no longer his favourite club.

Klopp chased Pulisic last summer and was again linked with the winger over the course of the recently concluded season, but the American stayed loyal to Borussia Dortmund.

If he did opt to move on, Bayern Munich could be considered to be at the front of the queue for his signature, with the Bavarians regularly raiding their Bundesliga rivals.

And Manchester United might have been thought to be an attractive destination for Pulisic too, given the fact he followed the Red Devils growing up.

But Pulisic insists he would not move to Bayern Munich, while Manchester United can no longer be classed as his favourite club.

"No, that I could not do", Pulisic said at an event in Hershey, via PennLive, when asked if he could ever join Bayern Munich.

He also admitted to following Manchester United when he was younger, but insists now they are not his favourite club, as Dortmund are.

"No, no, not anymore, not anymore", he said.

"Dortmund [are my favourite]."

Pulisic is not planning to leave Dortmund soon, meaning Premier League suitors such as Liverpool look likely to have to bide their time if they do want to snap him up in future.

Still just 18 years old, Pulisic says he is happy to go with the flow at Dortmund.

"I mean when I was little I wanted to play in the Premier League but now that I'm in the Bundesliga I'm not planning on a move because that's what I want to do.

"I'm really happy there and I'm just kind of going with the flow and I'm happy with it", the United States international added.
