Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma is attracting attention from two clubs in Ligue 1 this summer.

The centre-back's future at Chelsea is unclear amid suggestions the Blues may look to send him out on a loan stint next season, as he continues to get in the groove following a lengthy injury layoff.

Zouma has no shortage of suitors and he will have options to return to his native France, if Chelsea do make him available.

According to French TV programme Telefoot, both Nice and Lyon are closely monitoring Zouma's situation at Stamford Bridge.

Nice, who finished a lofty third in Ligue 1 last season, would be able to offer Zouma the chance to play Champions League football, but Lyon would be a destination which may also attract the defender.

Any move to Les Gones though would risk the wrath of supporters at his first side in football, Saint-Etienne, who share a fierce rivalry with Lyon.

Zouma moved to Chelsea from Saint-Etienne in 2014.

The centre-back, who has two caps for France to his name, is keen to play regularly next term with the World Cup on the horizon.
