Alfredo Morelos has promised Rangers fans he guarantees goals, after he completed his move to the club.

The 20-year-old hitman has joined the Gers from Finnish giants HJK Helsinki, putting pen to paper on a three-year deal at Ibrox as he takes the next step in his European football adventure.

Morelos will have competition to nail down a starting spot, but the Colombian is clear what his game is all about, with goals being a major part.

Indeed, the striker insists he always makes the most of his goalscoring opportunities, a belief backed up by the fact he netted 46 goals in 62 games in Finland.

"As a number 9 I can hold off defenders, I'm mobile in and around the box", Morelos told Rangers TV, explaining his qualities.

"I'm strong up front and quick – I have a change of pace.

"The most important thing is that I score goals – when the opportunity is there, I score", he added.

Morelos is also under no illusions about the size of the opportunity he has been handed by a move to the Gers and wants to make his mark on the Ibrox pitch.

"I'm really happy to be here.

"As I said, it's a really big club which has opened its doors to me and who have put their faith in me to come here, and I want to show off more of my talents, characteristics and my football", the Colombian added.
